Cabernet Moravia

This variety was developed in the Czech Republic as a crossing of Cabernet Franc x Zweigeltrebe (Zweigelt).  This red wines is deep of a dark garnety colour and posses supple Cabernet tones on both nose and palate. Medium body but with intense stewed and dried fruit flavours of prune and blackcurrant with very well-structured tannins. Wines from this grape can be classed as some of the top red wines of Moravia.

Food Pairing: makes a fine accompaniment to game dishes, steaks, dark meat in thick creamy sauces and mature blue-veined cheeses.
